Room 3 – Cloud
Human+AI: Better together for ERP Transformations by Muthu Muthiah and Methyl Shah (Cognizant)

Introduction:
AI is increasingly becoming part of everyday work across Oracle Cloud pillars like ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM. Whether it is assisting with transactions in ERP, guiding decisions in SCM, or supporting HR interactions in HCM, the AI capabilities are improving speed and efficiency. Despite this, what we are consistently seeing across programs is that outcomes still depend heavily on human context, judgment, and accountability.
In this session, we will share how AI is being applied in real Oracle Cloud implementations not as a bolt on or a stand-alone/separate layer, but embedded directly into Customer’s Business processes, integrations, and user journeys. From AI-assisted design and testing during implementations, to intelligent agents supporting operations post-go-live, the focus is on how these capabilities are augmenting teams rather than replacing them.
We will also discuss where human involvement remains critical such as interpreting AI generated results, handling exceptions, and ensuring governance within the overarching ‘Responsible AI Framework’ and how organizations can design their AI adoption with this balance in mind. The intent is to provide a practical view of how to scale AI in connected Oracle environments while keeping humans at the centre of decision making.

READ MORE

– by Pam Koertshuis (Gemeente Rotterdam)
